Here are some tips to ensure longevity with our pieces:
- Avoid showering, swimming, and exercising while wearing jewelry pieces
- Avoid exposing jewelry to skincare products, soaps, detergents, hairsprays, and perfumes. These acidic and hard ingredients may affect the wear of your jewelry.
- When not in use, store items in the pouch included in the order. Avoid metal on metal rubbing.
Sterling Silver Care
When cleaning your silver, be sure to use the polishing cloth provided in your order and gently rub your silver in small circles. Chlorinated water, cleaning products, and other bleach products can damage your silver, so be sure always to take off your rings before you clean. Sterling Silver must be kept away from your other jewelry to prevents scratches and nicks. A great place to store it is in the dusty pouch.
Stainless Steel Care
Stainless Steel gets its name from the simple fact that it does not corrode or rust. It is highly durable, although that doesn’t mean it can’t get scratched or even strained. When your piece gets marked, follow these simple steps to get your jewelry back to its peak condition.
-Pour some warm water and mild dishwashing soap into a small bowl
-Dip a soft, lint-free cloth in the water and wipe the stainless steel. Rub along its polish lines.
-Wipe the remaining soap off with a moist clean cloth with clean water.
-Dry with a clean towel and leave out to air dry
